Opportunity Fund

FOLKpark will continue fundraising after our conceptual plan is complete by applying for multiple grants and fundraising in the community - putting into motion the design concepts developed in our community meetings.

One major step is applying for the Opportunity Fund that is part of the Parks and Green Spaces Levy. Projects of significant size (over $200,000) and with strong community support and involvement are part of the criteria.

As we complete this multi-staged application process, we are confident that with continued support from both the local community and the City of Seattle we stand a solid chance of the Lower Kinnear Park Enhancement Plan getting funding.
